Feline Leukemia Virus or FeLV for short is a retrovirus that infects cats. FeLV only affects cats and cannot be spread to humans or other household pets! The virus can be spread to other cats through saliva, blood, and to some extent feces and urine. Due to this FeLV+ kitties can only live with other FeLV+ kitties.
